**Receiving Forklift Operator $17.44****Location:** North Aurora, IL, US **We are hiring a Receiving Forklift Operator on the overnight shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with a start rate of $17.44/hour.**Responsible for unloading assorted production and materials received from trailers. Receiver will place received items in the appropriate areas for storage.**Day-to-Day Role:*** Responsible for unloading assorted production and materials received from trailers. Items may be unloaded manually, or with the use of a fork-lift or clamp-truck.* Responsible for receiving and unloading film and corrugated board from outside vendors. Incumbent will place incoming materials in appropriate storage areas. Responsible for unloading all non-hazardous materials to include oils and non-flammable chemicals.* Receiver will properly dispose of packing/shipping materials.* Responsible for coordinating with Shipping Supervisor regarding receiving needs.* Must inspect fork-lift/clamp-truck at the beginning and end of each shift and complete the "Electric Truck Driver's Daily Check Sheet". Responsible for changing fork-lift and clamp-truck batteries as necessary.* Responsible for general housekeeping and area cleanliness.* Will conduct physical inventory of product and materials throughout the warehouse.* Will assist with the shipping and loading of materials and product as needed.* Will assist with the movement of materials and product throughout the plant as needed. This could include taking finished product from the Production/Print Departments floors, determining where it will be placed in the warehouse, and storing it properly. He/she may also supply the lines with needed materials as requested.* Must sustain good or better attendance on performance appraisals.**Core Skills & Qualifications:**The ideal candidate will have the following:* Six (6) months previous shipping/receiving experience, including experience loading/unloading trucks, is required.* Previous experience using a fork-lift.* Ability to utilize equipment including dock plates/leveler, hand carts, hydraulic pallet jacks, batteries, battery chargers, and brooms.* Ability to apply and understand addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in order to determine the amount of product or materials to place in or remove from an area.***Overview:*** *As the manufacturer of Dart and Solo brand products,**Dart Container is an industry leading single-use food and beverage packaging company.
