This portfolio includes responsibilityof 400 outpatient dialysis clinics, 200 home dialysis programs,100 acute care programs, 7,000 teammates, and the care of 25,000patients across Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.As a Group Vice President you are a key member of DaVita's field leadershipteam. This position provides strategic and tactical leadership, counsel anddirection to the field management to ensure safe, efficient, therapeuticand ethical patient care. Additionally, this position identifies anddevelops strategic growth opportunities, monitors group performance, andworks closely with the senior leadership team to develop competitivestrategies in alignment with DaVita's mission and values.The GVP has full leadership responsibility for recruitment, hiring,retention, performance development, performance management, salaryadjustments, and termination of your direct reports who are Division VicePresidents. Position has general, overall responsibility for teammatedecisions within operating group.Location: Florida, Georgia or South Carolina (open to considering out ofstate candidate who are relocatable to the market)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectationsof this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for assigned groupAnalyze current center trends impacting patient service delivery, trackmetrics and success criteria including ROI for all activitiesReview, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies,and/or procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutionsLead the creation and implementation of teammate development processes andsuccession planning including mentoring, coaching, and modelingappropriate leadership behaviorsManage financial and revenue growth, operations and labor management,contract management, and clinical outcomes within the groupFulfill broad-reaching, strategic responsibility for the development andimplementation of proactive programs, operational improvements,communications, and other general management responsibilities related to allmodalities (chronic, acute, PD, home) within the assigned groupParticipate actively in joint venture business meetings as applicableLead the business development process for complex partner negotiations,inclusive of joint venture partnerships and acquisitionsMaintain a liaison relationship between the corporate office and fieldoperationsDevelop positive work relationships with all levels of management and otherdepartments in the Village; work collaboratively with field management,legal, financeDevelop and maintain effective relationships with physicians consistent withDaVita code of conduct and Compliance CommandmentsBuild and maintain a team of knowledgeable, skilled teammates (includingmanagement) who function in compliance with all regulatory requirements andthe DaVita mission and valuesTravel required: up to 50%ESSENTIAL BEHAVIORS, SKILLS, AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN THISPOSITIONLeads the DaVita WayDemonstrates a commitment DaVita's values of Service Excellence,Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment and FunAmbassador for DaVita with patients, teammates, physician partners and moreCreates trust and belonging at all levelsDrives changeRallies a team to drive meaningful performance improvement at scaleChallenges the status quo.
