DaVita is dynamic, growing and entrepreneurial. We are currently seeking a Division Vice President (DVP) to join our Village and guide the operations of our dialysis services business based out of Orlando, FL. As the Central Oasis Division Vice President (General Manager), you will lead a team of 13 direct reports, ~90 centers (chronic dialysis center and home dialysis programs) and approximate annual revenues of ~$ 500+M with 900 teammates. This leader will oversee a territory covering the Central Florida region.This Division, Central Oasis is part of a larger group: Team Endeavor. Team Endeavor as a whole is a $1.5 B+ business with approximately 5000 teammates and, as a key member of DaVita's field management team, this position is responsible for the general management and oversight of operations within an assigned division. The DVP provides strategic, tactical and team leadership, counsel and direction to the field management of DaVita to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic and ethical patient care. Additionally, this position identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, leads division performance, and works closely with the GVP and business development team to develop competitive strategies in alignment with DaVita's mission and values.Responsibilities:Provide leadership to direct reports and division team, including the direct supervision, development of and accountability for the performance of the staffOversee and/or manage all teammate employment activity effectively and professionally including hiring, promoting, job performance, evaluations, compensation, teammate relations, disciplinary actions and terminationsDevelop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for assigned division; including:

Track metrics and success criteria, including ROI for all activitiesAnalyze current center trends impacting patient service deliveryReview, analyze and address gaps in service excellence, policies and/or procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutionsLead the creation and implementation of teammate development processes and succession planning, including mentoring, coaching and modeling appropriate leadership behaviors

Manage financial and revenue growth, operations and labor management, contract management and clinical outcomes within the divisionFulfill broad reaching, strategic responsibility for the development and implementation of proactive programs, operational improvements, communications and other division-specific general management responsibilities related to all modalities (chronic, acute, PD, home) within the assigned division. This includes leading the creation and implementation of DaVita's operating strategies within all modalities based on the identification of Best Demonstrated Practices.Maintain awareness and knowledge of competition; proactively assess related SWOT (division strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats); analyze and implement effective responsesUse and leverage the DaVita acute strategy for entry into additional hospital joint venturesParticipate actively in joint venture business meeting were applicableLead the business development process for division operationsMaintain a liaison relationship between the corporate office and field operationsDevelop positive work relationships with all levels of management and other departments in the Village; work collaboratively with field management, legal, finance, etc.Maintain an open line of communication with the GVP regarding oversight of Field OperationsDevelop and maintain a team of knowledgeable, skilled teammates (including management) who function in compliance with all regulatory requirements and the DaVita mission and valuesTravel required.Requirements:Strong alignment with our Mission and Values.Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred; MBA strongly preferred.Prior experience in management consultingMinimum of 10 years' progressive management experience requiredStrong leadership acumen; successful team management and developmentDemonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating leadership; demonstrated financial expertiseHealthcare industry background a plusAdvance computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Work, Outlook and PowerPointrequired.
