Cash Application Specialist
for our Tukwila Corporate office. This position reports to the Accounting Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and comfortable performing accounting and bookkeeping duties, to include cash application, account reconciliation, chargebacks, payment shortages and overages, preparing related financial reports and providing overall support to the Accounting department.Duties & Responsibilities
Post cash receipts to customer accountsProcess lock box deposits including bank wires, ACH, and credit card transactionsConducts reconciliation of paymentsGenerate manual deposits as necessaryTrack and resolve outstanding payment issuesConduct account research and analysisSupplies information to the Credit Department and aids in resolving customer reconciliation issuesPrepare and maintain various reportsAssist with month end closePerform other related accounting duties as assignedExperience, Talent & Education
1 year experience with A/R and complex cash applications, preferably in a manufacturing environmentProactive, articulate, with high attention to detail and organizationAble to prioritize, and constantly seek opportunities for streamlining or process improvementExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsEmployee Benefits
