JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Overview AmericanFoods Group Company has an opportunity for a Vice President of SupplyChain . We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded VicePresident of Supply Chain to join our team. This key leadership rolewill drive operational excellence and foster continuous improvementacross multiple operating segments. The successful candidate will play apivotal role in developing and executing initiatives that generatesubstantial returns and cost savings while focusing strategically onoptimizing supply chain operations. Primary Responsibilities: * Leadthe strategic planning, development, and execution of supply chaininitiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization\'s overallobjectives and goals. * Collaborate closely with procurement,operations, sales, and others in the organization to optimize supplychain processes, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings with a focuson implementing best practices and standard operating procedures. *Utilize extensive meat and food processing industry knowledge andexperience to provide strategic leadership and guidance to all supplychain-related activities. * Lead and manage continuous improvementactivities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overallsupply chain performance. * Develop and maintain strong relationshipswith internal stakeholders and external partners to drivecross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. * Leveragedata, business analytics, and technology to drive data-drivendecision-making and develop actionable insights. * Establish andmonitor success measures to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency ofsupply chain operations. * Lead and support the organization in itstalent development efforts, fostering a culture of collaboration,continuous learning, and professional growth. * Conduct regular visitsto our facilities and businesses to stay close to the business andleaders while working closely with them to execute all initiatives. *NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications (Required): * Bachelor\'s degree in Supply ChainManagement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. *Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and deliveringsubstantial returns and cost savings through supply chain optimizationefforts. * Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills andchange management skills, with the ability to build effectiverelationships, influence and drive organizational change, andcollaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. *Knowledge and experience in data and business analytics, and ERP systems(Infor M3 preferred). Preferred Qualifications: * Extensive, hands-onexperience in supply chain management within the meat and foodprocessing industry, with a deep understanding of processing and animalharvest operations. * Professional certifications in supply chainmanagement or related areas. * Prior Procurement Experience in a meator food organization. * Lean Six Sigma certification. * Bilingual inSpanish.
