Wild Coffee Human Resources is supporting Meridian Associates and their efforts to find a Senior Survey Manager. Meridian Associates, Inc. is an integrated civil engineering, land surveying, LiDAR/3D laser scanning, and landscape architecture firm specializing in land planning, site development, renewable energy development, and infrastructure design support. An employee-owned firm, we service hundreds of clients across Massachusetts and the Northeast.
The ideal applicant for the Senior Survey Manager will be able to manage daily operations of field crews, provide quality control, scope, and acquire new business, manage department resources and coordinate with clients and engineering account managers. The candidate must have knowledge of land surveying techniques and best practices. Project experience with boundary, topographic, utility, right of way, and ALTA surveys is ideal. Responsibilities
Manage workload, staffing and quality control for all survey efforts
Project management for survey projects
Overseeing preparation of all types of survey plans
Prepare weekly survey crew schedules
Monitor project schedules, budgets & deliverables
Required Skills & Experience:
Massachusetts PLS License required, other states a plus
5+ years of relevant experience, Civil 3D, Carlson
Highly competent to download, process and assess data accurately and quickly
Motivated to provide high quality deliverables to clients
Able to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-driven, and conscientious
General understanding of 3D Laser Scanning and UAS and Mobile Lidar a plus
Team Manager
Business development/relationship-building experience strongly preferred
