ResponsibilitiesThe

Sr. Business Intelligence Developer

is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that help Berkley Reinsurance America make data-driven decisions. They will analyze complex data sets to identify trends and create data models that support efficient reporting and analysis. Key functions include but are not limited to:

Collect and maintain business intelligence requirements.

Develop and implement Business Intelligence Solutions using Microsoft technology stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI).

Able to communicate with end users and technical teams to understand business requirements.

Optimize and standardize Business Intelligence solutions employed at BRAM.

Qualifications

Four-year undergraduate degree (minimum).

2+ years working in insurance or reinsurance related IT occupation.

2+ years development experience using Microsoft Technology Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI).

Thorough knowledge of SQL server and Transact SQL.

Understand data modeling, data schemas, (normalization, denormalization, flat, star, and snowflake).

Knowledgeable regarding query performance and query optimization techniques.

Knowledge of cloud-based solutions is an added plus.
