MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or Information Technology7+ years of experience managing software development projects and overseeing Navy DoD projects/programs5+ years of experience with Microsoft Project, Atlassian Jira and ConfluenceKnowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, to include Agile methodologiesActive DoD TS/SCI clearance

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Experience with any or all of the following:

General knowledge of DoD Cyber activities, including NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditationsFamiliarity/Understanding of Requirements Management specifically in system Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and/or Software Engineering projectsThorough understanding of NIWC Pacific projects/programs operationsInformation Warfare (IW)/Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) background is a plus

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDINGScientific Research Corporation (SRC) is searching for a Software Project Manager to oversee a large team performing systems engineering and software engineering production across the complete Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) lifecycle of a project. Engineering tasking includes planning, design, concept of operations development, requirements management, risk management, software production, systems integration, testing, configuration management, quality assurance, and installation of software and hardware. Work will be performed at the customer site in San Diego, CA.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees and is accountable for overall performance of defined scope(s) of work as indicated by customer satisfaction, quality of products and/or services provided, level of profitability attained, and other such measures as may be designatedServes as primary customer contact and manages overall company customer interface relationships for defined scope(s) of work to assure responsiveness to customer needs and effective professional conductDevelops project schedules; defines and assigns work to engineers assigned to programMonitors and controls work in progress for technical adequacy and provides active assistance to meet schedules or resolve complex technical or customer requirements
