MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering5+ years of experience in software developmentExperience in the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) or equivalent quality management systemExperience reviewing software design documentation packages, e.g. Software Development Plan (SDP) and performing software assurance audits as well as relation/mapping between the SDP and Master Test Plan(s)Experience handling classified documents and software (CDs, DVDs, HDDs, etc.)Knowledge/experience with Agile scrum methodologies and practicesActive DoD TS/SCI clearance

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Experience with any or all of the following:Contributing/Familiarity with Configuration Management documentation to include but not limited to, System Installation Guides (SIG), System Administrator Guides (SAG), and Software Version Description (SVD), etc.Using Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOpsFamiliarity with DISA Application Development STIGs and/or RMF process

[#CJ #LI-LH1]FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDINGScientific Research Corporation (SRC) is searching for a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to assist the Lead Software Engineer in the software engineering production across the complete Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) lifecycle of a project. Project tasking includes planning, design, concept of operations development, requirements management, risk management, software production, systems integration, testing, configuration management, quality assurance, and installation of software and hardware. Work will be performed at the customer site in San Diego, CA.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages the Quality Assurance, Auditing, and Verification and Validation (V&V) functions described in the Software Development Plan (SDP)Develops and executes process quality review proceduresContributes to the Software Configuration Management process, including overseeing source code, binaries and all build dependencies for development and production baselinesAssists/contributes to Configuration Management documentation as needed, to include but not limited to, user manuals, software version description, test reports, etc.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to for quality review of software applications
