What to expect
We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Warehouse Manager at our Redwood City, CA location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a tidy workspace. While prior experience in HVAC inventory management is preferred, it is not required.
What you’ll do?
Receiving and Stocking Inventory : Receive incoming inventory for production and ensure timely and accurate stocking.
Inventory Management : Identify when stock levels are low, and work with the team to restock before materials run out.
Workspace Organization : Maintain a tidy workspace to facilitate smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Kit Preparation : Ensure kits are accurately assembled and loaded, staged for upcoming projects.
Coordination of Building Maintenance : Coordinate schedules and tasks for maintenance and janitorial teams, including trash pickups, supply replenishment.
Warehouse layout : Maintain adherence to the warehouse floorplan and work closely with the COO to organize space for optimal efficiency.
Fleet Management : Oversee fleet maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and maintenance scheduling, ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition.
Stocking of Consumables : Manage the stock of consumables like nitrogen and refrigerants to support operational needs.
Emergency Supply Runs : Respond to emergency supply needs to support field operations as required.
What You'll Bring: Prior experience in warehouse management strongly preferred.
Experience with HVAC managing stock at distributors or at a contractor is a plus, but not required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Must be based on-site at our Redwood City, CA warehouse.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Existing forklift certification, or ability to obtain one.
