Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced UX Designer to join our team designing a meaningful, well informed patient experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Verily’s mission to bring the promise of precision health to everyone. Our goal is to do this by making participation in clinical research and care management simple, easy and valuable for end users. You’ll radically shape healthcare by bridging the gap between clinical research and care management. You’ll work with the larger Verily UX team and cross-functional groups —including Product Managers, Software engineers, Clinical specialists and more. We are seeking someone with excellent design skills; a fierce advocate for the user; a system-level thinker, who is excited by the challenges of creating innovative, engaging and delightfully simple user experiences for complex workflows across participant touchpoints.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the UX design of key features and design systems for our consumer products, executing design from start to finish while solving mid-high complex user problems and opportunities.Collaborate closely with the UX team and cross-functional teams, including Engineering, PM, Clinical, Marketing, Business, Regulatory and more, to bring products from conception to launch.Design end-to-end flows and experience that raises the quality of products across web & mobile platforms.Participate in regular design reviews and other team-wide design efforts; create and contribute to a great design team culture.Participate in user-experience research and usability studies.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
3 years professional experience in UX Design for consumer products.A strong design portfolio that demonstrates visual design skills, including an understanding of typography, color, grid, and composition, including examples that show the aesthetics of a product experience.Solid interaction design and prototyping skills with proficiency in industry-standard design tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Principle, Framer, etc.Systems thinker that demonstrates clear understanding of how to create scalable, cross-platform (mobile & web) user experiences based on users’ needs and intent.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience building, delivering, and maintaining design systems in Figma.Experience designing for consumer health-related products is a plus.Self-motivated; able to prioritize and manage workload, and meet critical project milestones.Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and collaboration skills; ability to communicate complex concepts effectively across a broad range of audiences, and galvanize different opinions around a shared objective.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000 - $147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
