As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will leverage the latest technologies and trends in the Gas PLC and SCADA systems industry to optimize our operations. Your expertise in SCADA fundamentals within the utility sector will be critical to your success. You will collaborate closely with management, supervisory, IT, and operating staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with the energy control center to support field and energy distribution operations.

Some responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
Maintain currency with the latest trends in automation design and equipment for the Gas IndustryWill work in all aspects of SCADA Systems including:• AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly OASyS DNA) baseline platform• HMI display development• Realtime Database data interfaces and reportsGas Measurement MeteringTroubleshoot SCADA software and server issuesWork closely with Field Technicians to configure, test, and troubleshoot data polling from the SCADA System to field RTUsWork with Gas Control operators to make sure the SCADA system is always providing them the ability to operate the pipeline safelyProgram wireless modems (Sierra Wireless and Digi)Build, configure, and maintain reportsDocument changes, obtain required approvals, and submit changesKnowledge of RTU/PLC protocols (Modbus, DNP3, BSAP)Ability to write simple scripts and SQL queriesAbility to work independently and exercise good judgment in a small team environmentThis is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.
