Job Summary:
Electro-Mechanical Assembler reports directly to the Production Supervisor and performs electronic repairs on MRI Cable Assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In addition to various tasks assigned by the supervisor the following are basic duties and responsibilities:
Ability to operate a variety of electronic test equipment, read drawings and solder.Proactively prioritize activities within fast paced work environmentMaintain workspace in an orderly and professional manner.Ability to assemble, build, or reconstruct MRI system cables.Supports safe operation of equipment in the manufacturing environment.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic knowledge of other technical disciplinesExcellent communication (written and verbal)Team PlayerCustomer focusAttention to detail.Complete work assignment with minimal supervisionMulti-taskCredentials and Experience:
5+ years of related experience preferredProficiency with cable assembly tooling: hand crimpers, wire strippers, and cutting toolsExperience working with electro-mechanical devices used in medical field.Experience in an environment governed by ISO 9001& 13485.U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident AlienSpecial Requirements:
Willingness and ability to work long hours and weekends as required.Physical Requirements
The employee is frequently required to sit.The employee is frequently required to stand.The employee is frequently required to walk.Must possess sight/hearing senses to adequately perform the functions of the job.The employee is regularly required to verbally communicate.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color.vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
May be required to occasionally lift 50 lbs.Must be able to manage and handle stressful and or demanding situations.Working Relationship/Environment Exposure
Maintain relationships and open communication.Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, where exposureto conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited.
Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal repair environment.No environmental hazards are encountered in performance of normal job duties.Frequent contact with all levels of employees and management
