In this function you will perform various production related tasks such as feeding machines, sorting, checking and packaging products. May be required to use floor loading trucks.RESPONSIBILITIESFollows plant safety procedures and guidelinesKnow emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredUnderstand and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out proceduresInforms supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediatelyActively participates in the D&W safety improvement process/activities, e.g. Hazard Identification, Safety Suggestions, Safety Teams, etc.Performs various production related tasks such as feeding machines and packing a wide variety of productsExamine products to verify conformance to quality standardsMaintains his or her work area in neat conditionAssists other workers with specific tasks as requestedFollow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMPsStack, wrap and label raw materials or finished goodsRecord product, packaging and order information on specified forms and recordsStart machines by engaging controlsStop or reset machines when malfunctions occur and report malfunctions to a supervisorStage pallets of finished goods or raw materials for material handlingSupports the Plants Food Safety initiatives by completing plant required Food Safety training and by implementing / complying with the required practices.BENEFITSWe offer a competitive salary & comprehensive benefit package which includes:MedicalDentalVisionWellness program401K with company matchSTD/LTDCompany paid Life InsuranceFSA (Medical & Dependent care)Employee Assistance ProgramPlus more!**Qualifications****Skills****Preferred****Attention to Detail** *Novice* **Basic Computer Skills** *Expert* **Must be able to read, write & speak English** *Expert* **Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Preferred**High School or better in General.**Experience****Licenses & Certifications**
