We are proud to offer industry leading compensation, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) match with additional profit sharing, PTO and abundant career opportunities.Come join our award winning 11,000 strong organization as we fuel the world and each other!ESSENTIAL DUTIES:* Processes and maintains standard and non-standard construction and operations service contracts and agreements.* Review, interpret and accurately describe modifications to standard and non-standard construction and operations services contracts.* Provides support and assists operational, engineering and legal personnel with regard to service contracts matters.* Interfaces with all levels of management to coordinate service contract approvals, resolve problems and assure proper contractual analysis and administration of service contracts.* Coordinates contractor contract routing.* Resolves contract or invoicing issues with contractor.* Acts as a knowledgeable contact point to provide explanation of contractual, company and/or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements.* Maintains service contract information database and generates pertinent information for regular and special projects.* Provides support and assists with Company's bidding application.* Prepares special reports or conducts special projects as assigned.Requirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:* Bachelors degree in related field with emphasis on business or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.* 5-8 years of work experience with emphasis on service agreements or contracts related to the construction and operation functions in the natural gas industry preferred.* Good working knowledge and experience in creation and administration of service contracts.* Familiar with applicable legal and contract terminology, conditions and with applicable governmental regulations, particularly as it relates to construction, right-of-way, condemnation and litigation.* Familiarity with construction and operations contractual terms and intent.* General understanding and experience with Service Contract Management System, Verifroce and of applicable operational requirements, processes and procedures.PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with team and all levels of management and employees.* Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines with a sense of urgency.* Ability to handle complex and highly confidential matters in a mature, professional manner.* Strong computer skills required with strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and other web-based systems.* Customer service and solutions oriented.* Excellent oral and written communication skills.* Innovative thinker.* Team player.* Must have strong research abilities, detail orientation and organizations skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple, concurrent assignments.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:* Sitting 6-8 hours / day* Walking .5 hours / day* Standing .5 hours /day* Driving occasionally* Travel occasionally
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experienceThe Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experienceThe Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Usually, normal office working conditions.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.Occasional overnight travel may be required.Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
