Primary Purpose

Analyzes complex business problems and issues of diverse scope using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Provides consultation to management and leads cross-functional teams to address business issues. Uses leading-edge analytical tools and techniques to develop creative solutions for clients' needs. Develops recommendations and analytics strategies for business. May act as team lead.

Duties And Responsibilities

Acts as a lead professional on cross-functional project teams, especially those with most sensitivity and highest level of difficulty. Serves as liaison with key internal stakeholders, communicating key insights and data-based strategy across all levels of the organization.Applies expertise to address and evaluate significant business needs and complex issues to provide recommended solutions. Reviews and/or conducts specialized analytics related to the most technical projects. Uses data to provide advanced analytical support on critical issues.In lead capacity, oversees the work of other team members, providing training and coaching to ensure successful outcomes.Maintains and expands current knowledge of technical developments in data analytics field.Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).Qualifications

Hybrid Schedule

Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow the employee to work onsite three days per week and remotely on the remaining workdays.Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics or equivalent training and/or experience.8 years of progressive professional analytic experience, including 3 years of lead or project experience.Ability to identify and utilize leading-edge analytical tools and techniques to develop creative approaches and insights into client issues.Ability to interpret data for trends, understand the business enough to draw conclusions and raise topics for discussion.Proficient in managing data acquisition from multiple sources, sound data handling/manipulation techniques, and analysis.High level of specialized knowledge regarding data, analytics, and metrics.Ability to write and present complex technical material in a clear and concise manner, adapted to client's needs.Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.Strong interpersonal communication skills, including influencing and negotiating.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing responsibilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solves problems by evaluating options to choose best solution.Experience with Microsoft Office.Knowledge of reporting capabilities of Power BI, Power Platform, SAP, ERPs, CRMs, Google Analytics, and/or other databases.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability or protected veteran status.
