Resident Consultant - Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN)Location:
Agape Hospital, Hosur, Tamil NaduJob Description:As a Resident Consultant in Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN), you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients.. You will work with our medical staff to diagnose and treat obstetric and gynecological conditions, provide prenatal and postnatal care, and perform surgical procedures as required.Responsibilities:1- Provide compassionate and evidence-based medical care to patients in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.2- Conduct consultations, examinations, and assessments of obstetric and gynecological patients, including prenatal care, family planning, and menopausal management.3- Perform and assist in surgical procedures, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries.4- Monitor and manage labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.5- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, midwives, and other medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.6- Educate patients and their families about reproductive health, contraception, and prenatal care, providing guidance and support throughout the treatment process.7- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.8- Participate in medical rounds, case presentations, and continuing medical education activities to enhance knowledge and skills.9- Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, standards, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality of care.10- Contribute to departmental initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research activities as required.Qualifications:1- PG Medical degree (MS) from an accredited institution.2- Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) from a recognized program.3- 1-3 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.4- Valid medical license to practice in India, preferably in Tamil Nadu5- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in the diagnosis and management of obstetric and gynecological conditions.6- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.7- Commitment to patient-centered care, professionalism, and continuous learning. Experience in mission hospital is desired.8- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary healthcare environment.9- Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability for patient outcomes.10- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and work flexible hours as needed.
