Responsible for assuring quality delivery of academic programs and services through the supervision of the Dean of Teaching and Learning, Dean of Resources for Learning, Manager of Dual Credit, Curriculum Specialist, Curriculum and Instruction Assistant, and the Scheduling Specialist.
Responsible for overseeing all curricular and instructional functions, including:
Curriculum development and program review to ensure Illinois Community College Board, Illinois Board of Higher Education, and Higher Learning Commission compliance standards are met.
Ensuring that new and existing programs are creating pathways to economic mobility and lead to gainful employment.
Implementation of new pedagogies and professional development that support faculty innovation and create students’ sense of belonging and inclusive learning environments.
Expansion and enhancement of dual credit course and programming.
Leadership over student success initiatives, academic support services, and student-centered strategic scheduling.
Works collaboratively with the Provost Leadership Team and other college leaders to support the College’s strategic and operational plans.
