Strategist

to help manage one of our top priority client partnerships in entertainment. You will be responsible for

contributing to

our strategic vision for new and returning primetime TV series, acting as a thought partner to

clients . We are seeking individuals with a creative and entrepreneurial drive and excitement to work in a fast-paced environment. But most of all, the ideal candidate is someone who is ready to become a Spoon - to give a damn, try anything, and enjoy the people they are working with.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day strategic needs of our clients across multiple projects, including new business.Help craft the strategic approach for new and returning TV shows based on a deep understanding of their larger business goals, category dynamics, audience behaviors, cultural signals, and technology/platform innovations.Be/become an expert in the entertainment space, demonstrating a deep passion for the TV industry and a comprehensive knowledge of competitive networks and streaming platformsSynthesize and interpret qualitative and quantitative research to form actionable insights. Includes pilot and concept testing, Nielsen ratings analysis, consumer viewership behaviors, competitive research, social listening, and more.Assist in crafting strong, concise creative briefs and strategic narratives that identify business opportunities for audience-centric, culturally-relevant ideas.Contribute to facilitating the development of creative ideas designed to solve a specific business problem.Collaborate with team members and effectively partner cross-departmentally with media, creative, experiential, and account during various phases of a project.Stay up to date on the latest cultural and consumer trends impacting our client’s business, industry news, and emerging tech with an understanding of how they apply to our work.Requirements2+ years of experience as a brand strategist at a creative agency or similar experienceExperience working on creative campaigns and brand strategy projects, including writing creative briefsPassion for TV and entertainment: both as a consumer (you love watching and talking about TV shows) and as a marketer (you know the landscape and audience behavioral trends with the ability to form a strategic POV)Experience conducting both quantitative and qualitative research, demonstrating a high level of fluency with audience data and research tools (e.g. Simmons, GWI, Brandwatch)Ability to communicate effectively (written, visual, and verbal), identifying key findings and connecting the dots to form actionable insights that create value for our clients and creative teamsAbility to effectively prioritize tasks and be resourceful, flexible, and quick to adapt in a fast-paced environmentCreative and entrepreneurial drive with a passion for coming up with big ideasProven ability to collaborate strategically across departments and officesProven ability to foster trusting relationships with teammates and clientsOpen to receiving thoughtful feedback and actively applying itStrong appetite for cultural perspectives, whether a subculture of people, emerging platforms, social content, pop culture, and everything in betweenDigitally connected, passionate about technology and innovation, with an insatiable curiosity for how it applies to our industryFamiliarity with Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft OfficeThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is

$75,000 - $90,000 . Salary is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location.
