Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.Responsibilities:Material Handler
Starting rate:

per hourThe Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. Team members will work:12-hour shifts, either 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am (shifts do NOT rotate!)Work 3 days one week and 4 days the next week (either Tuesday - Thursday or Saturday - Monday with alternating Fridays)Shift premiums up to $1.50 per hourResponsibilitiesIn the Material Handler role, you will:Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer needsMaintain forklifts and other equipment to reduce/eliminate downtimeMaintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety
Qualifications:The successful candidate (s) for this role will have the following qualifications:Possess a high school diploma or a GEDAbility to comply with a strict attendance policyDesire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentForklift experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
