Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of our systems, and providing support to end-users. The System Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity, security, and efficiency of our IT systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:System Maintenance and Management:Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.Perform regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions.Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
User Support:Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Backup and Recovery:Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures.Ensure regular backup operations and verify data integrity.
Security and Compliance:Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.Ensure systems comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
Network Administration:Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure.Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls.Ensure network security and connectivity.
Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and issues.Generate regular reports on system performance and health.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).Experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
Skills:Strong knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
