The Job:

As a Global Account Manager, you’ll be part of our Commercial team working as a virtual employee.

The Global Account Manager position is responsible for increasing sales revenue while protecting and increasing profitability by developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key OEM partners. As a Global Account Manager, you are the primary point of contact and will work to satisfy our OEM customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a world-class customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.

Specifically, you’ll:

Deliver the sales goals and growth targets by building long-term relationships with key OEM partners, promoting programs and initiatives, and identifying conversion opportunities.Collaborate cross functionally on new product development and launches; act as liaison between internal departments and key OEM contactsResearch and resolve OEM partner issues promptly and maintain good communication between the customer and the CompanyProvide technical application assistanceManage the review of contracts, analysis and deliver price adjustments as requiredPrepare sales forecasts and analyses of present and prospective opportunities in accordance with company proceduresForecast and develop monthly, quarterly and annual sales account plansAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all Infrastructure product lines for customers by conducting regular training and product educations sessions for key accountsAttend and participate in all necessary training related to product, technology (SFDC) and soft skillsAttend and participate in OEM and company sales meetings, training programs, trade shows, and conventions as requiredMaintain knowledge of market practices, competitor’s product and marketing plans and keep management informed.Comply with all company policies, instructions, and directives for fulfillment of company objectives for maximum profitable salesPrepare and submit call and expense reports as required

The Person:

You’re an account management professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where the ability to multi-task and project manage is essential. You also have:

Minimum of five to ten years of proven experience and success in a field sales role, preferably within the construction, agricultural or industrial equipment marketA strong knowledge, understanding and relationships within the OEM sales channelMechanical aptitude – must understand basic machine and hydraulic equipment operation and principalsStrong Account Management ExpertiseRequired knowledge of market practices, competitor’s product and marketing plansAbility to negotiate, work and communicate with customers at all levels – from support staff to executive leadershipAbility to react and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced business environmentStrong facilitation and presentation skills on technical subjects with varying sizes of audienceDemonstrated success in problem solving; must be creative, resourceful and innovativeIndependent worker, able to organize and manage time effectivelyAbility to lift products and samples up to 40 lbs without assistance, set up displays and exhibits, and conduct hands-on tool demonstrations, must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and maneuver in tight spaces during demosSelf-motivated with high energy, strong work ethic and a positive attitude with ability to drive growthExperience with Salesforce.com or any CRM experience is helpful but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMicrosoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and overall computer proficiencyBachelor’s Degree in related field of study preferredWilling and able to travel both in- and out-of-state, (via car or plane) up to 25% of the time including weekends and weeks at a time. International travel may be required on occasion.Close proximity to an airport is preferred.
