Senior Product ManagerLocation: US Remote | Holmdel, NJ & Plano, TXRequisition #6282Job Overview:The Product Manager is responsible for driving and executing the strategy for Spirent's 8100 cellular device testing product line. The individual works closely with Spirent product development teams to create a holistic product strategy encompassing both short-term and long-term objectives. In addition, the individual works with customers, sales, marketing, and development teams to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met with each product release. The Product Manager is also responsible for helping shape the roadmap and overseeing the execution of the roadmap. This includes defining requirements, writing user stories, prioritizing initiatives, and driving scalability and other investments for the product. Deep product knowledge must be developed to serve as the product expert for all stakeholders. And to support your personal wellbeing, we hope you will love our dedication to creating the right work and life balance experience!Join Spirent and together let’s shape tomorrow!Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with customers, sales, and product management to translate business requirements into user stories for the development teams to implement.Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation in JIRA.Work with engineering, support, manufacturing/supply chain, and finance to create business cases for product development work with an overall objective achieving the company’s ROI goals.Work with the development teams to ensure a common understanding of the vision for the product and design features that our customers value.Evaluate and validate with development teams the effort estimates for user stories and features.Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product.Bridge the gap between our technical needs and the requirements of our users, including providing detailed product requirements for the implementation of changes to our systems.Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases.Work together with Support and QA teams to collect and classify defects, prioritize appropriately, and ensure expected functionality is fully understood.Act as an escalation point for critical support issues that arise with key clients.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; preferably in Engineering; or equivalent work experience.Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.Prior product management experience strongly preferred.Expertise in communicating progress at each phase of development as appropriate, including published roadmaps, requirements, and other information.High degree of both technical expertise and business acumen.Strong results orientation combined with excellent judgment and problem-solving skills, track record of product success.Demonstration of outstanding communication skills internally and externally, across teams and functions.Demonstration of attention to detail, strong organization, and planning skills.Commanding knowledge of 3GPP cellular standards including 5G NSA, SA, and LTE.Working knowledge of cellular location technologies.Strong problem-solving and organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.Extensive knowledge of Agile Product Lifecycle Management and Technical Product Creation.Pragmatic Product Marketing Framework certification desirable.
