Serve as an internal resource to clinical departments for charge capture and charge master updatesMonitor revenue compliance with clinical departments, implementing best practicesSupervise and coordinate Chargemaster management functionsUnderstand and analyze payer regulations and impact on reimbursement and coding guidelinesDevelop and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers
What Is Required (Qualifications)
High School diploma10+ years relevant experience in patient billing and revenue cycle experienceExtensive knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, UB-04 Revenue Coding, and billing regulationsProficient in Microsoft Office ProgramsSolid analytical and communication skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Financial related work experienceKnowledge of revenue cycle processes within a healthcare organizationKnowledge of CMS coding and compliance rulesAbility to research complex coding and regulatory requirementsAbility to multi-task and manage interruptions effectively
