Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Salesforce Engineering Lead to join our high performing team that delivers and supports services across the U.S. and Mexico to the North American businesses of the Tokio Marine Group. You will serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce applications and solutions and be expected to have a deep understanding of business processes and Salesforce technologies. We are looking for a dynamic, tech savvy, self-motivated person with a demonstrated history of Salesforce application development, integration and workflow hands on experience. As part of this role, you will provide Salesforce expertise, application design and coding best practices, serve as a mentor to more junior colleagues, formulate technical strategies and support the current state architecture. The candidate should be collaborative, communicative, and confident while working with business and IT groups in a fast-paced environment.

Job ResponsibilitiesCreates and maintains architectural artifacts illustrating the Salesforce ecosystemDesign and code solutions that integrate with our Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and 3rd party applicationsMaintains a deep understanding of core coding technologies, lightning framework, API integrations (SOAP and REST), trigger framework, flows and batch processingLeads the development, communication, and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and the components required for Salesforce supportGuides and consults with IT management and technical staff members regarding use of emerging technologies and associated servicesParticipates in the evaluation, selection and application of new and emerging tools and techniquesEstablishes and builds strong working relations and partnerships with Business units and senior managementProvides development and debug level operational support to our group companies and development teamsProvides technical support and insight into large project release planning and implementationMaintains code best practices and standards. Ensures that the best practices are enforced, and architecture standards are met with new initiatives and deploymentsComplies with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the companyPerforms special projects and other duties as neededDevelops/Enhances SOPs to support the development teamPresents technical solution designs to our Technical Review Board for approval of mid to large size solutionsDegree / Licenses and Professional Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferredSalesforce certification in any of the following is preferred: Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Technical ArchitectExperience and Knowledge Required

10+ years' software development experience required.5-7 years of Salesforce solution architecture and/or Senior developer experienceStrong experience developing Salesforce solutions using Lightning, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Apex classes, Apex Triggers and FlowsAn understanding of system limitations and best practices within Salesforce system limits and constraintsAbility to design reusable and scalable components for a high volume and enterprise environmentsAbility to design and align system components based on requirementsExperience with integrating Salesforce with service bus and external web services such as Azure REST and SOAP APIsExperience with authentication methods such as API tokens, oAuth, certicatesExperience with modern CI/CD toolsExperience working with Sales CloudExperience with FSC object model for Insurance is a plusExperience with VS Code and Git repository usageFamiliarity with SOA strategies and solutionsKnowledge of SDLC methodologies for planning and executing application development, enhancement, or supportSkills and Abilities

Salary range $99,000 to $160,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
