Job Summary:
Responsible for management and engineering of infrastructure technologies that may involve virtualization and computer hardware, storage and backups, active directory and messaging or automation and deployments.
Essential Job Functions:
S erves as a technology resource and coaches junior staff
Provides Tier 3 support as needed
Works on projects as assigned
Performs and coordinates routine maintenance and patching on responsible systems
Creates SOP’s and QRG’s for the various teams, including but not limited to tasks such as server builds and Exchange administration
Supports development of architecture and implementation plans for infrastructure technologies
Supports creation of technical proposals for increasing capacity and new implementations
Supports cross training of new QRG’s and SOP’s with IT departments as required
Creates documentation of overall infrastructure systems architecture Supports the creation of capacity plans and maintaining configuration management
Supports technology vendor and solution evaluations as assigned
Uses repeatable best practices in compliance with TMNAS architectural standards and engineering methodology
Assists with t h e i m p l e m e n tat i o n o f b e st p racti c e s e c u rity m e as u r e s to p r o t e ct corporate data and systems
Participates as part of an on-call rotation for after hours support
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with: Core infrastructure design, Virtualization solutions (VMWare and Hyper-V), Windows and Linux host environments and related technologies, Storage (SAN/NAS) technologies as well as hyperconverged systems (HCI)
Experience with: Backup technologies and overall data recovery methodologies, replication technologies. (Dell PPDM, Avamar, Networker)
Monitoring technologies, automation scripting and management, deployment, and system maintenance methodologies
Relevant Certifications: ITIL Intermediate v3 – Service Transition, IT Planning Protection and Optimization, Service Operation, Operational Support and Analysis, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE Server, MCSE Messaging), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Storage+ Powered by SNIA, EMC Storage Administrator (EMCSA), EMC Storage Implementation Engineer (EMCIE), HP ASE Storage Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional - Data Center (CCNP – Data Center)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
6+ years of relevant experience required
Demonstrate strong analytical ability with the capability to determine the root cause of problems and issues and provide solutions
Superior attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple, competing, frequently changing time-sensitive deadlines and priorities
Ability to work independently and without supervision
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Salary range $89,000 to $110,000 . Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
