Staff Accountant
Currently seeking a Staff Accountant for one of Central Oregon's Largest Companies. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or 5 years of recent accounting experience as a staff or senior accountant, preferable in the financial services or real estate industry. This is a direct hire position with great benefits and compensation, and an exceptionally positive work environment.

Maintain monthly and quarterly accounting for the different company entities Monthly reconciliation of sub-ledgers to general ledgers Booking of journal entries relating to daily operations and month-end closing Accrual, amortization, and depreciation schedules Assist in preparation of yearly financial audits Work with CPA to prepare year end tax filings, distribution of 1099's, 1098's and K-1s Manage draw cycle, schedule inspections, approving budgeted items, collect lien releases, and calculate payoffs for loans Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable Other duties as assigned Requirements of the Staff Accountant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or related field is required 5 or more years of accounting experience as a staff accountant, preferable in the financial services or real estate industry Advanced proficiency with MS Excel to include Vlookup, pivot tables, complex formulas Recent experience with QuickBooks Pro and Online version Ability to establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships Excellent written and oral communication skills Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment Professional and self-starter Financial analysis and planning are a plus not required
