Senior Software Engineer - IAM

Our founders built a previous agency (Monsoon) that was acquired by Capital One in 2015.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Review and lead the gathering of business, functional and technical requirements for establishing an Identity platformDocument the common technical and functional requirements for specific solutionsBuild bridging capabilities such as API endpoints and application-specific interfaces to support authentication use casesRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline required7+ years of overall IT / software development experience, solution design and technical architecture experience3+ years hands of experience with C# & Java 2+ years driving application architecture design2+ years of experience with (IAM) architectures2+ years of experience with implementing cloud computing solutions such as AWS, Google Apps, Salesforce etc.Experience with customer identity use cases for B2C and B2B: user registration, multi factor authentication, SSO, delegated administration, social identitiesExperience in leading discovery workshops to derive customer requirements, specifications, business processesExperience developing functional and system design specificationsStrong knowledge of Security Architecture, Design and Operations, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, SSO, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC, web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, RESTProficiency in one or more of Java, .Net, JavaScript, AngularFamiliarity with IAM solution providers is required (Auth0 strongly desired)Experience integrating with a multitude of On-Prem and SaaS based productsStrong experience identifying critical issues with easeHighly Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Okta Expertise, Experience, and CertificationsKnowledge of software development security and cryptographyExperience with API Gateways, CASB, Reverse Proxies (NGINX)Proficiency with various open-source software and development toolsProficiency in one or more of .Net, Ruby, Java, Python or PerlProficiency in git and SubversionOkta Certified Technical Architect or a combination of Okta Certified Consultant and Okta Certified Developer will be a plusTOGAF and/or CISSP certification is a plusAt Kunai, we have built deep relationships with our clients.
