Our client, a denim powerhouse based in NYC, is currently seeking a Vice President of Sales. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy and initiatives while maintaining ongoing contact with existing and potential customers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and build the sales long range plansMaintain collaborative and very strong relationships with both external partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure success and accomplishment of target goalsLiaise with Design and Planning teams to identify project sales and monitor core fashion and key item opportunities.Develop, manage and oversee all wholesale account relationships and business developmentAnalyze and react to current sales and commerce trendsResponsible for identifying sales growth opportunities and participating in negotiations to close strategic opportunitiesTravel for in-person meetings with retailers and partners to nurture key relationships, resolve any high-level issues and maintain a strong knowledge of the retail partner's strategic plansMaintain a strong knowledge of competitive activity and utilize information when creating account strategiesPartner closely with CEO and CFO for forecasting sales strategiesResponsible for developing and coordinating the monthly estimate processCreate a culture of success and goal achievement and implement strategies which support the needs of the sales teams, operations and required resources to deliver profitable growthTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
