Reinsurance Operations Specialist

Our client, a leading Commercial P&C Insurance Company, is continuing to grow and is seeking to add an Operations Specialist within their Reinsurance Department. This person will play a critical role in supporting the company's reinsurance operations. This position requires a detailed-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of reinsurance processes. The ideal candidate will ensure the effective administration of reinsurance treaties and facultative placements, supporting the company's overall risk management strategy.

Handle the application of cash recoveries on reinsurance invoices, assessing and identifying potential discrepancies or errors, and providing effective solutions.Manage the administration of reinsurance treaties and facultative placements, including data entry, premium calculations, and claims processing.Ensure accurate and timely submission of reinsurance bordereaux and other required reports to reinsurers.Maintain detailed and organized records of all reinsurance transactions and communications.Reconcile reinsurance accounts, including premiums, commissions, and claims recoveries.Qualifications:

2+ years' experience in reinsurance operations within the insurance industry.Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables) including database management expertise.Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts, treaties, and facultative placements.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Salary/Benefits:
