Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. 5 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area. 5 years of experience with cloud data center infrastructure including power, network, cooling, zonal architecture, services, and more for cloud regions. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field. 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders. 7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting). 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership. 5 years of experience in software development or engineering. Knowledge of building accessibility best practices, and experience incorporating inclusion and accessibility into product development methodologies. About the job At Google, we put our users first. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Work with partner Product and Engineering teams to evolve and define long-term GCP cloud region and zonal infrastructure requirements, service roll-out strategies, or specialized infrastructure strategies. Identify and translate Machine Learning/AI trends into infrastructure product requirements. Ensure all technical requirements and roadmaps across cloud infrastructure groups are integrated into cloud regions, zones, and other infrastructure. Verify infrastructure promises, SLA/SLOs of cloud regions, and zonal products with customers. Understand competitor landscape and ensure Google Cloud is up to date on competitors region/zonal infrastructure trends.
