Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:The Manager, Outreach and Partnerships develops and leads international student recruitment and honors student recruitment (including for under-served student populations), as well as supporting recruitment efforts of LSC at large. The manager also develops and coordinates partnerships with university and other external partners that support student credentialing and transfer. Directs and coordinates activities, creating, implementing, and evaluating processes to ensure continuously effective operations. Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives and confers with others to obtain data required for planning departmental activities. Trains and oversees staff and student representatives (e.g. Honors College Leadership Representatives, International Student Emissaries) for outreach and external partner events. Monitors cost and budget for outreach and recruitment activities.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Working with Marketing and Enrollments Manager and HIE leadership, develops and implements outreach and recruitment activities for targeted recruitment populations (under-served populations, international students); provides advice and assistance to HIE leadership on creation and implementation of related services to meet the needs of studentsDirects and implements a comprehensive system of training for managers, administrators, and student leadership groups to implement student recruitment initiatives; creates, organizes, and distributes a schedule of recruitment opportunities and eventsEstablishes and maintains relationships with the local independent school districts and other internal and external partners such as Education USA to develop and sustain student recruitment and outreach partnerships, researches city-wide, as well as international, recruitment opportunities for HIE and the collegeMonitors and controls transfer articulation agreements and through the development and renewal processes and events in a timely manner; ensures that necessary documentation and agreements are kept current and takes a lead role in communicating changes to counselors and facultyTakes a lead role in the development and management of co-curricular partnerships, including the coordination of related info-sessions and program eventsMaintains a system and database for tracking prospective students, from initial contact through enrollment; tracks data to measure 1) impact of outreach and partnership efforts on student transfer and credentialing success and 2) financial efficacy (ROI) on specific partnership and outreach strategiesRepresents HIE and/or assigned LSC-campus at a variety of community/student outreach eventsCoordinates periodic campus visits for school counselors, dual credit faculty, and other school personnel and represents the college at ISD functions and LSCS meetingsResearches and coordinates the development of innovative school partnerships, bridge programs, and grants10.

Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. Salary

Hiring salary range is $63,014 to $72,466.Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions.

Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
