About the Role:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring supplies are accurately distributed to crews in good condition and in a timely manner. Sturgeon Electrics power line, or Transmission and Distribution (T&D) construction division provides a full-range of capabilities related to transmission, distribution and substation construction.Essential FunctionsComplete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of materials, tooling & equipmentPrefabrication of various electrical assembliesLoad and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehiclesComplete and maintain inventoriesMaintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)Follow company safety policies and proceduresReceive and fill ordersDrive company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials & toolingRegular and predictable attendanceThe essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company designated office or field locationUnderstand and comply with the Companys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.Other duties as assigned
About You:Qualifications1-5 years of warehouse experience requiredHigh School Diploma or GED is requiredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience with tool/material tracking databases, Tool Watch preferredBasic math skillsAbility to problem solvePositive attitude and team playerSelf-starterAttentive to detailsOrganized, punctual, reliableAbility to obtain a Class A driver's license within 60 days of hire, preferred
