AI/ML Engineer

Sev1Tech is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of network infrastructure, cloud, platform, system, application, and cybersecurity monitoring and analysis as well as event and incident management and response functions. The objective is to better leverage advanced automation in performing routine and repeatable tasks, as well as tasks that require timely data analysis, pattern recognition, coordination of actions, and decision-making. Critical desired outcomes include: spending less staff time on manual tasks that can be automated; extending and optimizing automation of network and cyber operations and engineering tasks to improve quality, accelerate task accomplishment, and "do more with less".

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToAnalyzing current use of technologies and tools to execute business processes and perform network, cybersecurity, and program management tasksRecommend to contractor and customer management those business processes and network, cybersecurity, and program management tasks that are top candidates for the application of AI/ML driven solutionsParticipate with other project team members in establishing an agreed upon roadmap for such AI/ML solutionsConduct Proof of Concept solutioning to demonstrate the value of new solutionsArchitect, design, develop, and test AI/ML solutions for production useMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degreeAt least four (4) years of developing AI/ML solutions and developing softwareExtensive knowledge of ML algorithms and data scienceDemonstrated experience using statistical and ML techniques - e.g., supervised and unsupervised learning, Natural Language processingProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++Ability to thrive in a dynamic environmentActive Top Secret security clearanceAble to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship in order to obtain a Public Trust clearanceDesired QualificationsExperience delivering AI/ML solutions for DHS, DoD, and or the Intel CommunityAdvanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or similar fieldCertifications:Certified Artificial Intelligence Engineer (CAIE) certificationAWS Certified Machine Learning – SpecialtyGoogle Machine Learning Engineer CertificationTensorFlow Developer Certificate ProgramCertified Artificial Intelligence Scientist (CAIS)Demonstrated experience leading Research and Development projectsExperience with cybersecurity data from SIEM, Endpoint, Network, or Threat IntelligenceExperience with SOAR products and conceptsExperience working in containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)Knowledge of agile development processes and DevOps tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, ConfluenceAbout Sev1Tech LLCFounded in 2010, Sev1Tech provides IT, engineering, and program management solutions delivery.
