Together, Momentive Technologies and our customers are reshaping the world.Corporate Development DirectorThe Corporate Development Director works to define growth strategy for the company both through internal strategic initiatives as well as though inorganic growth measures (e.g., Mergers and Acquisitions).ResponsibilitiesDevelop/update corporate and competitive strategy for business unitsIdentify and prioritize strategic initiatives within the companyLead the execution of key organizational growth initiatives, including strategic partnerships and M&A transactionsEvaluate macro-level trends, track competitor strategies and communicate insights to support organizational strategyManage cross-functional teams with a hands-on, team-oriented approachEnsure effective management of post-closing deal terms and hand-off to integration teamsExecute transactions including process management, structuring, negotiations, and closing dealsAnalyze the pro forma implications of strategic partnerships and M&A transactions on company's growth trajectory, business mix and marginPerform due diligence, including financial analysis and risk assessments in support of proposed transactionsPrepare and/or oversee the preparation of presentations which outline the strategic and financial rationale for transactions for senior management and the Board of DirectorsRequired Qualifications:+10 years of professional experience in manufacturing company or consulting firmEngineering or business degreeExperience leading projects and cross-functional teams, business/financial analysis, and presentation of results and recommendations to managementSuperior analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, research capabilities, and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiencesComfort working on a cross-functional team in a dynamic, fast-moving, and high stakes work environmentStrong project management skillsResults oriented, metrics driven leader focused on continuous improvement.Effective written and oral communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in Semiconductor IndustryPrior experience with Strategic Planning or M&A transactionsKey Relationships:Vice President of Quartz Business Unit, Global Business Directors, Senior Director of Global Production Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain Teams, Site Leaders, Supervisors and Operations employeesTravel Requirements:10% of travelEEO StatementWe treat all our associates and candidates as equals.
