SUMMARY
The Mechanical Designer will provide mechanical/HVAC design services on a variety of commercial building projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMechanical technical drafting and design on assigned projectsAssist in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings and for renovations and additions to existing facilitiesPerform quality control process relative to project responsibilities on assigned projectsPerform initial site investigations and observations of work done by the installing contractor(s) related to contracted projectsProvide coordination of project designs with other disciplinesMaintain assigned project schedulesDevelop and maintain positive client relationshipsAdditional duties as assignedCOMPETENCIES

Completion of a high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)Proficient in the use of Autodesk RevitTwo (2) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in mechanical designBasic proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of two (2) years of experience in HVAC/plumbing design in the MEP fieldAdvanced proficiency in the use of Revit, AutoCAD and Design MasterProject Management experience a plus
