The successful candidate will be a key member of the institution's leadership team, responsible for advancing the vision of excellence in teaching, research, and engagement. As the chief academic and administrative officer of the school, the Dean will oversee all instructional programs, faculty matters, and related duties. This includes academic affairs, inter-professional education, collaborative research, and clinical programs. The ideal candidate should have a doctoral degree in podiatric medicine, a minimum of 7-10 years in an academic medicine setting, and a strong record of accomplishment in academic, scholarly, and clinical pursuits. Extensive experience in administration, as well as excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. A commitment to diversity and a track record of success in developing and retaining a strong faculty and student body is also important. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Podiatry must have a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree and a substantial background in podiatric medical education, administration, or a related field. The role requires a candidate with a proven ability to manage an institution, a goal-oriented professional with excellent public relations skills, and a commitment to the values of the institution. Administrative leadership experience in a school of podiatric medicine is highly preferred.
