Position PurposeWith strategic guidance from advancement leadership, manages an integrated approach to the shared services of principal and leadership giving, annual giving, and alumni engagement. Develops and oversees workflows, processes, and systems related to the administration of Advancement at Tuck. Supervises staff responsible for stewardship, prospect management, data integrity, gift processing, communications management, and event services.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs ExpBachelors plus 6 or more years' experience or combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities1. Experience and skill successfully managing advancement systems and processes for nonprofit organizations. Proficiency with alumni/donor management systems (e.g., Ellucian Advance). Familiarity with stewardship, prospect management, and alumni and donor engagement.

2. Supervisory experience and/or experience leading a high performing project team.

3. Knowledge of higher education alumni relations and philanthropy gained through a combination of a liberal arts or business education, continuing education in philanthropy, and/or relevant work or volunteer experience.

4. Strong data fluency and analytical skills.

5. Strong project management, organization, data management, and analytical skills.

6. Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.

7. Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of donors and colleagues.

8. Able to introduce and drive innovation in ways small and large.

9. Able to collaborate effectively with Tuck and Dartmouth colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.

10. Able to proactively identify and pursue relevant learning and professional development opportunities and apply new knowledge, insights, and skills to enhance results.

Key Accountabilities

Description1.

Advancement services : Leads and manages a team of Advancement services professionals in support of Advancement strategy for the engagement and cultivation of Tuck alumni. With a focus on effective collaboration and a donor-centric approach, ensures that activities related to dean deployment, donor engagement, data integrity, and event and communications services are conducted efficiently and consistently with a high standard of accuracy and excellence. Serves as partner to the Advancement leadership team through implementing strategy, developing systems and services to support initiatives, and conducting analysis to inform decision making. In collaboration with several departments across Dartmouth and Tuck, ensures the effective use of technology, reporting tools, and alumni management systems to track solicitation strategies, process philanthropic commitments, and manage alumni engagement opportunities. Provides support for all hands events such as reunions.

Project management : Oversees campaign tracking, conducts forecasting, monitors progress against goals, and analyzes data and metrics in support of Advancement priorities. Serves as project manager for special projects and large-scale communications such as annual fund solicitations and stewardship reports.
