Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Shipping/Receiving II for our Tulsa, Oklahoma location in our organization, the Shipping/Receiving II has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments.

Perform diversified tasks related to shipping/receiving. Store and dispatch to job sites of material, tools, equipment, and products at the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unloads and loads trucks. Uncrates or unpacks items upon delivery to the facility. Inspects items for shipping damages, check items, and accompanying paperwork against the purchase order or work order.Marks items and materials with applicable identification numbers, i.e.: PO, job, part numbers, and place them on racks, shelves, or bins, recording the exact location on a copy of the purchase order.Fills materials requests for work orders, sales orders, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to appropriate locations either by hand or forklift.Ensures all quality documents go to QC with a copy of the purchase order and job number.Picks materials to fill customer ordersPrepares materials for shipment according to shop order notifications or other specifications.Packs or crates materials for both domestic and international shipments according to OSI or customer specifications.Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Keeps the shelves, racks, and overall warehouse area clean and the floor area open to forklift trafficResponsible for overall housekeeping of the warehouse storage area and dockPractices and demonstrates safety as outlined according to the OSI handbookEnsures that the parts the Material Handler pulls are correct, and the quantity is what is needed for the sales orderHas your work double-checked by coworkers as well as checks their work, per procedurePerforms other duties assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or GEDMinimum of 18 months prior warehouse experience in a similar industry and a basic understanding of general inventory storage technology and proceduresGood understanding of packaging standards and palletizing practicesGeneral computer knowledgeAbility to operate hand tools, cranes, and other lifting and securing devicesMaintain a good driving recordBasic mathematical and measurement computationsWell-trained at forklift and pallet jack operationAbility to multi-taskAttention to detail and accuracyGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently or in a team environmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
