Clinical Director – Western Montana Region and Telehealth Services

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000

Intermountain Deaconess Children’s Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Clinical Director to lead and oversee our community services in western Montana and telehealth services. The western region includes Lewis & Clark County, west to the state line, and Northwest MT counties. As the Clinical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing our licensed Mental Health Center by ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health care to our clients, managing a team of clinicians, and implementing effective strategies to enhance services delivery of our diverse client population. Your expertise in behavioral health and strong leadership skills will be instrumental in guiding our team of clinicians and driving the success of our programs.

Clinical Oversight And Leadership

A day on the job looks like:

Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to a team of behavioral health professionals ensuring adherence to best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of evidence-based and culturally competent care.Serve as a subject matter expert, offering clinical consultation and guidance to staff on complex cases, treatment approaches, and ethical dilemmas.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, primary care providers, and community organizations, to coordinate client care and promote integrated services.Stay updated on current research, best practices, and emerging trends in behavioral health to continuously improve service delivery.Stay informed about emerging trends, evidence-based practices, and regulatory changes in the field of behavioral health, and incorporate this knowledge into improving service delivery and clinical practice.

Program Development And Evaluation

Collaborate with strategic leadership to develop and enhance community outpatient and telehealth programs to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the community.Monitor program outcomes, key performance indicators, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and treatment plans.Implement quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.Identify opportunities for program expansion and advocate for resources to support growth and sustainability.Identify and address gaps in service delivery, making recommendations for program enhancements and improvements.Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as community organizations and healthcare providers, to establish and maintain partnerships that enhance service coordination and continuity of care.

Staff Development And Training

Provide ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities for clinical staff, promoting their growth and maintaining high standards of practice.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth, teamwork, and a comprehensive, client-centered approach committed to excellence.Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate opportunities for feedback, growth, and skill enhancement.

Compliance And Risk Management

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements governing behavioral health services.Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential clinical and operational risks.Collaborate with the compliance department to establish and maintain effective policies and procedures related to privacy, confidentiality, and informed consent.

Role

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.Licensure as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Montana is required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field, with a focus on outpatient and telehealth services.Proven experience in clinical supervision, program development, and staff management.Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health treatment modalities.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines in behavioral health care.Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with a diverse client population.
