Summary:

Provide database administration expertise in the latest Oracle Server and Microsoft SQL Database Administration (DBA). The candidate will provide design, install, configure, backup, administer, manage, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, test, monitor, and document all databases.Responsibilities:Providing technical guidance on new database solutions that could help to optimize current or future applications/systems.Providing database technical guidance and DBA support for application developmentProviding database tuning to improve the overall performanceProviding Oracle or SQL Server general user and administrative supportMonitoring and maintaining database files and reviewing audit logs to identify issuesEnsuring that database sizes, drive space, I/O throughput, memory utilization, and logs are properly maintained to maximize system security, and performance levelsDesign, create, configure, administer, manage, troubleshoot, diagnose, monitor, and document (data modeling) databases.Monitor backups on all Server databasesPerform routine disaster recovery testing scenariosTroubleshoot and maintain database performance including the proposal of short-term fixes long term solutions and the regular scheduling of index maintenance and database integrity checksEstablish and maintain database policies and standardsRefresh data from one processing environment to another as requiredDevelop follow and maintain team documentation for repeatable processes including database feature installation disaster recovery and common problem resolutionParticipate in security auditsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related field, or equivalent experience and a minimum of five years of hands-on design and implementation of databases in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and newer and Oracle 11g and newer.At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition and all facets of database administration including migration.Experience in Oracle 11g and 12c database architecture, automation, installs, backup & recovery, monitoring, and database query tuning.Shell scripting skillsMust be willing to work on site in customer facilities in Brunswick, GAMust be willing and able to submit to and pass a DHS law enforcement background check

Posted Min Pay Rate:USD $79,648.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate:USD $132,746.67/Yr.

Salary Disclosure:Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
