Summary:

We are seeking a senior information systems security engineer or cyber security engineer to join our team. The candidate will have an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of cybersecurity methodologies. Moreover, the candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of data, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of security standards and therefore is expected to have meticulous attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:Lead/Support in computer security incident response activities for events.Technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies.Security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards.Document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security and correlate security logs.Subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity.Security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives to automate daily processes and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field is desired.Five (5) years of detailed technical experience in system security engineering or related field within the last seven (7) years, with a thorough understanding of cyber security and its relation to system hardware/software design and architecture.IAM-III certification (CISSP or GSLC) is required.Strong proficiency in cloud security and services.Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security.Experience with Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or Power Shell.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.Must be willing to work on site in customer facilities in Brunswick, GAMust be willing and able to submit to and pass a DHS law enforcement background check.

Posted Min Pay Rate:USD $95,577.60/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate:USD $159,296.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure:Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
