As the Manager of Information Technology at AccumTech, you will be a hands on leader and champion for all IT needs of the business. You will work alongside and lead a team that supports our physical/virtual/cloud infrastructure, domain management, DevOps, and end user related IT operations. You will work directly with internal teams to identify and document their technology needs and requirements, implement required systems and changes, and manage related audits and reviews. As needed, you will also source and manage external vendor and service provider contracts. In addition, you will work closely with our development teams to support the entire lifecycle of our SaaS offerings, including creation, implementation, testing, performance, and security.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing bulletproof IT policies and systems and have working knowledge of current tools, technologies, and best practices. They will have a strong hands on technical background while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills. They will have a love of taking on new challenges and working closely with teammates to solve complicated problems in an agile environment to help the company meet its objectives and growth expectations.

Some of the key tools and technologies that the IT department supports and the IT Manager will need to assist in maintaining at AccumTech include: Microsoft Azure, Fortinet/SonicWall networking devices, Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization hypervisors such as VMWare and Proxmox, and Microsoft O365.

Responsibilities

Oversee all technology operations (e.g. physical/virtual/cloud infrastructure, network security, database management, DevOps)Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper managementAnalyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needsPrepare and oversee an annual budget monitoring the costs of needed equipment, software, renewals, and ongoing servicesIdentify needs for new systems, equipment, licenses, and other requirements determined by the businessLead and mentor assigned personnelAssist in building relationships with vendors and service providersDevelop an operations strategy that meets the needs of software development teams designing key software featuresCreate system guidelines and manuals for the organizationQuickly and clearly share your knowledge and direction with your teamRequirements

Bachelor's degree in IT/related field and 7+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of skills and experienceProven experience as IT Manager or similar roleExperience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specificationsUp-to-date knowledge of latest IT tools, technologies, and best practicesExperience in controlling information technology budgetProblem-solving and critical-thinking skillsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding communication skills and the ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple termsAbility to lead and teach othersDesire to work in a fast-paced environment and take on direct responsibility with a growing companyAdditional Qualifications

Hands-on knowledge of one or more of the following tools and technologies:

The posted salary range for this position is $125,000-$150,000.
