Job Summary:

The IT Provisioning Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees and supporting existing staff by preparing, configuring, and deploying IT equipment and software. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from receiving and setting up devices to maintaining accurate inventory records. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with proven technical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

MI, Ann Arbor Office

Job Responsibilities:Receive, unbox, and inspect new IT equipment (laptops, desktops, mobile devices)Configure and image devices according to established guidelinesInstall and configure necessary software applicationsPrepare and ship equipment to new hires or other departmentsSet up and deploy equipment at user locationsUpdate asset tracking systems with accurate and up-to-date informationPerform basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issuesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentDocument all procedures and activities accuratelyAssist with user onboarding and answer questions about new equipmentComply with all company policies and proceduresJob Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience in a related IT support role (or equivalent technical experience) or a completed IT degree/certificationExcellent understanding of computer hardware and softwareExperience with operating systems (Windows, macOS) preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent attention to detail and accuracyExceptional problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs.
