Our core values of candor, collaboration, curiosity, grit, and inclusivity shape our approach to providing innovative solutions.Position DescriptionSoftdocs is looking for a technology and client-oriented professional who is passionate about software implementation and revolutionizing the education sector.The mission of the Professional Services Team is to provide a superior client onboarding experience that builds a solid foundation for adoption of our products across their academic institution. Project Managers are a key part of the implementation project team, which delivers Softdocs's Etrieve software to new clients and provides software consulting services. Project Managers will serve as the primary point of contact for all client projects within the Professional Services division. The Project Manager will be the principal resource for each project, coordinating all other necessary resources and stakeholders on their projects by effectively communicating with the Softdocs teams and client teams to drive successful projects that meet client-expected outcomes.The role reports to the Vice President of Professional Services. To gain a full perspective on our professional services offerings, please visit our Services Page.Position ResponsibilitiesMake clients wildly successful through their onboarding to Softdocs’s EtrieveLeads Business Solutions Consultants and Technical Solutions Consultants in a matrix-based resource group to ensure satisfactory client communication and understanding of project deliverables and deadlinesWork across multiple projects and project teams simultaneously to anticipate and manage changes in projectsEffectively anticipate and adapt to changes in project tasks, assignments, and check points from technical and business requirements to budget and timeline requirementsMonitor execution of standard delivery processes that drive successful delivery methodologies to exceed client expectationsDefine and regularly communicate easy-to-understand project metrics to assist with managing clients, company and overall project expectationsWork cross-functionally within Softdocs to support client engagement efforts and continue to enhance Professional Services offerings to meet client needsProvide regular project status reporting to Softdocs leadershipPartners with the Client Success team to produce and drive action on client experience data from engagements, resulting in insights on how to elevate making our clients wildly successfulThe Ideal CandidateTechnical SkillsMicrosoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Excel, WordHard SkillsProject Management – experience in leading, organizing, planning, and executing complex large-scale projects from conception through implementationSoft SkillsClient Oriented – does right by the client; challenging our team to make sure we are doing right by the clientVersatile Communicator – ability to effectively communicate difficult subject matters in a manner that is easily heard and understood by the audience: from stakeholders to internal team members.
