The role of the Project Manager is to deliver and provide leadership in all phases of Trimble’s asset based enterprise level life cycle implementations. Oversee the completion of requirement definitions, functional specification, database design, system and technical architecture definition, implementation, and unit system testing and development. Oversee performance of the installation and client acceptance of enterprise software systems, or system integration projects or engagements. The successful candidate will manage projects delivering solutions utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies. This is a working role requiring an execution of billable hours.Manage multiple enterprise level projects and programs simultaneouslyOversee / develop multiple project plans, schedules, and budgetsEvaluate risk assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of multiple projectsProactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plansOversee/facilitate all aspects of the development/implementation of a project or program involving department or cross-functional teams, & interfacing with all internal/external stakeholders throughout the project or program lifecycle (initiation to close)Estimate and coordinate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goalsEffectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashionSet and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholdersIdentify and manage project dependencies and critical pathManage / oversee team schedule while monitoring team utilizationPlan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate toolsDraft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessaryUtilize project management tools to estimate projects and monitor planning and progressDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentationsConduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elementsDevelop best practices and tools for project execution and managementOther duties as assignedWhat Skills & Experience You Should Bring

4 year degree in Business or Information Technology, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and executionExperience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentCan conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities and still meet aggressive schedulesAbility to read and interpret communication styles of team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplinesPersuasive, encouraging, and motivatingAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments/lines of businessAbility to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivityStrong written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skillsAdept at conducting research into project-related issues and productsMust be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitivity environmentExperience in Business Process Improvements/Change ManagementExperience managing direct reports including performance reviewsTechnically competent with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and SharePointStrong knowledge and understanding of TMTPreferred Skills
