Senior EPIC Applications Analyst (CDI/HIM) – Healthcare Information ManagementJob Type:

Hybrid (2-3 days per week or 6-10 days per month onsite)
Client Desired Outcomes:
This role will support the expansion of CDI components and optimize existing functionalities within EPIC systems.
The position will report to individual overseeing technical management, database integrations, and EPIC upgrades within the organization.
Scope of Work / Additional Notes:
Manager has been with company 16 years and manages technical aspects including EPIC upgrades and financial applications.
The role will collaborate with individual who manages financial analysts and oversees numerous Workday integrations.
Responsibilities do not include clinical applications (e.g., Beaker or Beacon) but heavily involve integrations and technical support.
The team includes 30 staff members with extensive tenure, focusing on HIM, CDI, and EPIC system optimizations.
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
Build CDI Components (Task 1):
Collaborate with CDI manager to enhance EPIC’s CDI dashboard and data models.
Support CDI workflow optimizations and reporting on account review statuses.
Support HIM Requirements (Task 2):
Assist senior analysts with HIM needs, focusing on compliance and system maintenance.
Manage communication aspects and support Hyland OnBase integrations.
Work Queue Prioritization (Task 3):
Prioritize work queues and enhance EPIC functionality for providers.
Analyze and deploy new EPIC features, ensuring readiness for November go-live.
Skills Required:
Understanding of HIM (Health Information Management) & CDI
Knowledge of HIM practices, ideally with familiarity in California-specific regulations.
Efficiency and Responsiveness:
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines, supporting high-expectation stakeholders like doctors and CFOs.
Communication Skills:
Clear and effective communication skills, essential for interacting with medical professionals and senior management.
Minimum Experience:
6-8 years of experience in Epic HIM, with certifications in multiple HIM modules required, including CDI/ROI.
