Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage storage tank projects from design conception through construction completion, ensuring engineering specifications and standards, safety protocols, and client requirements are met through the project life-cycle.
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Position: Project Engineer/Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
Review Customer Technical Specifications and Drawings and develop designs based on Customer-supplied plans and specifications, and a variety of applicable Codes: ASME Section VIII, API, AWWA, NFPA, ASIC, and National and International Building Codes.
Generate detailed shop fabrication and field erection cost estimates.
Generate Subcontractor Request for Quotation Packages
Review Customer Terms and Conditions
Write and issue technical and commercial proposals to our customers.
Project Management responsibilities include coordinating intra-company project activities including drafting, purchasing, shop-fabrication, field-erection, as well as Subcontract Management, Contract Changes and ongoing Customer Service/Communications functions during each project.
Training:The Project Engineer will work under one of our licensed Professional Engineers learning the details of storage tank and pressure vessel designs, structural design, stress analysis, as well as heavy construction, and project management methodologies and practices.
