[Responsibilities] Manage day-to-day client relationships and maintain positive client satisfaction Seek opportunities to be creative and innovative in serving clients Work closely with engagement partner and staff to meet client expectations Manage the assignment budgets and profitability in area of responsibility Keep current on applicable professional standards Develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm Role model and mentor to new and existing staff Keen interest in personal career growth & development Assist in firm administrative functions as assigned by the partners Participate in recruitment, business planning and retention initiatives [Qualification]
CPA License or actively working and minimum of 5-7 years of public accounting experience Five-to-seven-year experience in corporate income tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax consulting U.S. GAAP/GAAS knowledge Demonstrates an ability to function at a high level in a deadline driven, time-sensitive environment Must be a team player Strong tax accounting and analytical skills. Strong technical skills in tax compliance and tax research Strong computer skills: proficiency in tax accounting software, Excel, Word. Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills. Business level proficiency in English required – Dual business level proficiency in Japanese required. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task. Manage, develop and mentor staff, assisting with professional growth and development of staff Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, and solid oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
