Northrop Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division is seeking a
Principal / Sr. Principal Software Algorithm Developer
to become a member of the software applications team, working as part of an integrated and globally disperse team. The position requires a flexible work schedule driven by system and operational requirements and is located at a field site in Fort Belvoir, VA.
This position can be filled at a level 3 or 4
Job Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code (such as HTML, CGI, and Javascript) for a component of the website. Works with graphic designers and other members of a project team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website. Assists with interface implementation.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM discipline plus 5 years’ experience in electrical/computer/systems engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, physics;
OR
Master of Science Degree in a STEM discipline plus 3 years’ experience in electrical/computer/systems engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, physics.
In support of continuous integration, utilize best practices writing and automating unit and integration tests providing verification of software
Knowledge and experience in communications intelligence (COMINT), electronic intelligence (ELINT), and/or foreign instrumentation signals intelligence (FISINT) collection and processing
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: signal applications, signal data processing, prototype development and supporting transition of prototype ops to limited and baseline ops
Active,
in scope DoD Top Secret Clearance / SCI Access with a counterintelligence
Salary Range:
$97,500 - $146,300
Salary Range 2:
$120,900 - $181,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
